We aim to especially cover the intersection of violence against women and subsequent effects of this violence on women's reproductive health. It is designed for researchers, health communication specialists, policy makers, and others.

UNHCR Handbook for the Protection of Women and Girls
This Handbook is the product of collaborative efforts, resulting from extensive consultations with, and contributions, from UNHCR staff and partners. It is based on the provisional issue of the Handbook issued in June 2006 for consultation purposes with the Field and non-governmental partners and incorporates feedback received.

Eliminating Female Genital Mutilation: An interagency statement
This Statement is a call to all States, international and national organizations, civil society and communities to uphold the rights of girls and women. It also calls on those bodies and communities to develop, strengthen, and support specific and concrete actions directed towards ending female genital mutilation. However, despite some successes, the overall rate of decline in the prevalence of female genital mutilation has been slow. It is therefore a global imperative to strengthen work for the elimination of this practice, which is essential for the achievement of many of the Millennium Development Goals.
